Day 8

Callan is asleep in the crib now.

Here's scenes from earlier today:

This is about 10 minutes after we got her. All three of us are in shock.

This is on the way back to the hotel - she has been a very happy baby all day long.

Another shot on the way back. She made really good eye contact from the moment we got her, which is very important.

It was play time as soon as we got back to our hotel room. We spent the entire day with just Callan. She is very alert and interested in everything.

Proud papa. She's bonded real well with Chris and she doesn't mind it when I hold her (as long as Chris is in sight :)

Finally it's sleepy time. We got back to the room right around noon and she stayed awake until 3, which was way past her normal nap time. It was a big day for her, too.

Dr. Su looked her over later in the day and everything was fine. We just spent the day playing with her and holding her. We gave her a bath later in the day, which she really liked. Tomorrow morning we take her to another office and have a more official ceremony and get all the papers we signed today notarized. I've got some video to upload but it may have to wait until tomorrow - I need a nap.
