Callan - For this child I prayed

This is our somewhat-daily attempt to keep family and friends (our pets don't have internet access) informed during our trip to China to get our daughter Callan.

Day 5

On Friday the 3rd we packed up, left Beijing, and headed for Hong Kong. Tom got us to the airport about 2 hours early so we were able to catch an earlier flight to Hong Kong (there are like 13 flights a day between the 2 cities!). The one hour earlier flight saved us a couple hours in Hong Kong because we didn't have to wait at the airport until 7 pm for the rest of our group - we were able to leave with an earlier group. (btw, the first couple we met are named Ken and Krista - he works for Graybar selling electrical supplies - they're from Toledo).

The hotel here is really nice - there's about 40 couples here from CCAI - I think we have the entire 12th floor! Anyway Chris and I went out to dinner while most everyone else crashed. Don't ever go to a Mexican restaurant in Hong Kong...

After dinner we walked along the harbor - the 'Walk of Stars'. I cannot believe how beautiful Hong Kong is. There's about every company in the world here and a thousand skyscrapers all lit up at night. I got some pictures that I'll have to post later.
