Callan - For this child I prayed

This is our somewhat-daily attempt to keep family and friends (our pets don't have internet access) informed during our trip to China to get our daughter Callan.

Day 17

This is our last day in Guangzhou!! It'll be "bags in the hallway" around 4 am tomorrow and then we finally head home. The only thing we have left to do is to take and oath at the U.S. Consulate. I don't really know what we're swearing to at this time but it doesn't really matter.

We go to the consulate around 3 pm and we should be back around 4:30. After that it's time to pack and hit the sack. If I get a little time I'll try to upload some pictures from the last couple of days.

Later -

We basically swore that all the information we had given them regarding the adoption was true. Then they gave us "The Sealed Brown Envelope" that we were not to open, only give it to immigration in the U.S. If the seals got broken it could mean a return trip to China - yikes....
